Yoga Nidra for Postpartum Mood
Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep" is a powerful form of meditation that gets the brain into Alpha Wave states. One hour of Yoga Nidra is known to be the equivalent of four hours of sleep. When using the technique very regularly, studies have shown that people need less sleep; this is solid gold for new mamas!
In this MP3, Kelli Foulkrod leads new moms through a 30 minute yoga nidra for postpartum mood. This yoga nidra session is designed to help moms relax and soften their views and expectations in new motherhood. Lie down in a comfortable position and ensure that you can have quite and be undisturbed to practice this lovely form of self-care. You deserve it!
Articles and Blogs
Our Disclaimer: We don't know these authors, or even necessarily read all that they write, but we do find these articles meaningful, motivating and encouraging. We aren't saying that they know the "right way" to do it, because despite the masses of parenting books on the shelf there actually isn't a "right way." Perhaps these give you some new perspectives, and hopefully lift the load a little bit.
